A letter to my Son

Dear Hayden,

I'm sorry i haven't been around latetly, This is not of my doing but i am sorry for it anyhow.
I wish to write to you just to share some things that you might wish to know when it comes time to share this with you in due time if things don't allow me to be a part of your life sooner than later.

First off be true to your heart but listen to your head and gut, Your heart will always guide you to the things what will always make you happiest even if it gets broken at times it will heal in due time, Your head will help you work out how to do things right most of the time but it will also be wrong just as often and learn from those mistakes and they will teach you a many thing, You gut will keep you safe and sound it will let you know when its dangerous or your about to do something wrong but it will also lie to you at times telling you its not safe to run away but those times normally involve a pretty girl and then listen to your heart son and go for gold you never know you might meet someone special.

Secondly "Say what you mean and do what you say" in otherwords be truthful in your words as they can inspire great things or cause great pain with ease, And if you say your going to do something always endevour in your best attempts to follow through with them, Don't grow up to be someone who takes liberty with peoples feelings and tell them you will do things when you don't mean it, You only hurt them and yourself its not a good thing.

Third thing I want to say never hold a grudge be quick to let go of things as grudges will always poison you and destroy the things you hold dear to you, Take the most important things away from you, And you will only hurt yourself and the ones you love most so in the end you will only ever end up hurt alone and angry.

I want you to know no matter what happens in life those three things will always earn you the most respect and the best of friends by making you a guy people can trust and look to when they need someone to turn to.

I will always love you my little man and will always be proud of who you are and what you do so just be the best you can be.

Sooo i told myself i would write something each day and im already lagging behind on that, Just what do i write? Is there anything really interesting and exciting about me? Honestly when i look in the mirror i just see me boring old me someone who was interesting but isnt anymore i feel, so i just don't know what to write at the moment.

Perhaps tomorrow i will try to write a letter to my Son who i miss dearly and post it here.

Who am I?

Hmmm ok here is my goal as of now is to make atleast one blog entry a day and make it something interesting and relevant to me and who I am, But the question is who am I? Where does one start to answer a question like that, How does one answer such a question, I guess at the start would work best i guess.

Im a average 30+ year old guy who is a father to a gorgeous and amazing 4yr old boy who i miss greatly as i am not getting access to him, I'm a photographer at times, IT tech at others whilst trying to just be me and get healthy again in mind,body and spirit. I am athletic when the mood takes me with my love of cycling as nothing really can beat the feeling of the wind in your hair and the sensation of speed as the road passes beneath you, the power as you accelerate up hills and to know all that comes from you and your legs.

Im also graced by the presence of a truely beautiful angel in my life someone who makes me really feel special my ever beautiful partner and inspiration Ahlephia someone whos writings amaze me and inspire me to try writing at times but im not a writer really just someone who can inspire her writing and thats more than enough for me as i can see the joy in her when she writes a great piece.

Well i will call it here as im struggling to think what else to include about myself here, Fingers crossed i keep to my goal and post something each day.
