A letter to my Son

Dear Hayden,

I'm sorry i haven't been around latetly, This is not of my doing but i am sorry for it anyhow.
I wish to write to you just to share some things that you might wish to know when it comes time to share this with you in due time if things don't allow me to be a part of your life sooner than later.

First off be true to your heart but listen to your head and gut, Your heart will always guide you to the things what will always make you happiest even if it gets broken at times it will heal in due time, Your head will help you work out how to do things right most of the time but it will also be wrong just as often and learn from those mistakes and they will teach you a many thing, You gut will keep you safe and sound it will let you know when its dangerous or your about to do something wrong but it will also lie to you at times telling you its not safe to run away but those times normally involve a pretty girl and then listen to your heart son and go for gold you never know you might meet someone special.

Secondly "Say what you mean and do what you say" in otherwords be truthful in your words as they can inspire great things or cause great pain with ease, And if you say your going to do something always endevour in your best attempts to follow through with them, Don't grow up to be someone who takes liberty with peoples feelings and tell them you will do things when you don't mean it, You only hurt them and yourself its not a good thing.

Third thing I want to say never hold a grudge be quick to let go of things as grudges will always poison you and destroy the things you hold dear to you, Take the most important things away from you, And you will only hurt yourself and the ones you love most so in the end you will only ever end up hurt alone and angry.

I want you to know no matter what happens in life those three things will always earn you the most respect and the best of friends by making you a guy people can trust and look to when they need someone to turn to.

I will always love you my little man and will always be proud of who you are and what you do so just be the best you can be.
