Questions

How does one say how you make one feel in a simple way?
Does one buy you a rose or a thousand roses?
Does one climb the highest mountains and scream it from the top?
Does one write in the sky for the world to see?
Does one say to thee how special one is to another?
Does one tattoo it across ones heart to have a permanent mark of it?
Does one buy the prettiest ring in the store and get it engraved?

One just says,
Thank you my love for making this little person feel like the most important person in the world,
Thank you for teaching me love again and giving me the courage to feel it,
Thank you for taking the time to see me for who I am and making it ok to be me,
Thank you for taking the time to hear me for what I say and making sense of me,
Thank you for sharing your time and space with me giving me somewhere safe,
Thank you for giving me a place to be free and alive again,

But most of all:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE

Humanity

Something that has always made me wonder and think from where i am in the world,

Why is it the most powerful species to walk this earth is also the one so determined to wipe itself out?

We as a race have the power to change the environments we live in to suit our needs to change the way nature itself is around us, But we choose to only to destroy it? Not treasure it to further it to something truly wonderful for our futures.

We as a race can wipe out disease as we know it, Or wipe out famine and poverty with ease like its not more than a itch what needs scratching. But we only work to line our pockets and think of ourselves and tell ourselves its not our problem.

We as a race are a sad pathetic lot capable of incredibly stupid and cowardly actions that never cease to amaze me.

But there is certain individuals that rise above and shine like beacons that we all should look to emulate and give people hope, They are the people you see on the street who take the moment to stop and listen to the birds, The ones who always find that spare change to donate to make someones day better, Who will work to make a difference no matter how small it is.

We idolize the wrong people its not the sports stars we should put on the pedestal's but the people like the men and women of our Emergency services yes they aren't perfect and some are bad people, But yet how many a time do we hear of stories of bravery from members of the services, But yet are they respected? Are they paid all that well? No they aren't i know many a fireman here where i live who work second jobs just to make ends meet.

People who volunteer their time and lives to help the ones who are less fortunate are ones we all should look to emulate as if more of them walked the streets how much better would life be? Or people who give up the last few dollars that they were going to buy their lunch with so someone else can eat.

Or even sadder do we respect the Kids who are smart who can go on and make a real difference? No they are bullied and laughed at the majority of the time. Who has heard of a 15yr old Footy Star doing something that can change the world and make a difference? I have heard of a 15yr old kid who won a science fair for inventing something that changed the game with the diagnosis of cancer.

So next time you are walking down the street and see a Police Officer instead of thinking "Pig" think about how he is  doing something that he believes in and makes a difference to someones life maybe even yours one day, Why not Smile and say "Thanks for doing what you do" it will make a difference to him and you will feel better for it.

When your asked for a dollar for a cause and you can afford to why not toss it in no matter the cause be it for a charity or someone who is down on his luck and could do with something nice in his life, As every little bit matters and will add up.

Last of all don't knock the smart kids or even the dreamers as they are the ones who will make the future better for all of us instead encourage them help them chase that dream and don't let them stop dreaming of better things and you might just be guy who gives the hope to the kid who cures a disease or comes up with something that improves our lives like a truly clean power source that is cheap enough and easy enough for all of us to use and do.

And last of all don't give up your dreams and hopes as they are what makes each day worth waking up to.

Depression

People who think depression is a choice, take a second to think.
How would it feel to wake up and not having the emotional strength to face people?
To think that time is just passing by with no real reason.
To… feel so alone even when you are sitting in a room full of people.
To have to put on a face and hide your feelings because in your mind you think no one would care anyway.
To lose friends because you can't find the strength to go out and you can't physically be 'happy'.
To cry yourself to sleep, hoping you wouldn't wake up then when you do you are exhausted from the night before, and it all starts again.
You try to hide your feelings hoping no one would notice.
Now tell me why someone would choose that? Depression is an illness, not a choice.

If you know someone who is currently facing this demon let them know they are not alone, That you are there for them, That you care about their pain.

If you are the one suffering please remember theses simple things:
The First step is always the hardest and its a long road but you are never alone.

In your darkest hour always look to the east as thats where the sun will rise.

No matter how alone you feel you are, Your always loved be it your Mother, Father,A sibling, Your partner or it could be someone who hasn't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, Your always loved so never give up.
